Being a massive Stanley Kubrick fan, the first image that popped into my head for this weeks Illustration Friday topic was obviously a snow man. After drawing the most unoriginal snow man ever I had a rethink 

and decided to draw one of the iconic scenes from the Shining.

The past week I've been incorporating some of John Kenn's techniques into my own drawings. 

This is taken from a doodle I done while applying for a job over the phone. I was going 

to post the original doodle as well but it escaped into the real world.

The Kenn Brigade

I've been a massive fan of John Kenn's 'Post-it note monsters' since first discovering

his work about a year ago and about two weeks ago I was given one of his books plus 

a new set of fine liners. This plus the lack of employment has giving me the time to produce

this image in Kenn's style.

IF: Whiskers

Benjamin Buttersworth loved his moustache and the many knock knock jokes it told him at night. 

Computer Sketch 1

        I finally got round to buying myself a graphics tablet for my computer.

I picked it up from the post office this morning at around 10 and since then I've not left it

alone. I don't think I'll be able to leave the house under my own free will any time

soon.

I don't really have the time to put much effort into this weeks Illustration Friday.

So I've just done this very quick doodle of a guy who's accidentally clicked 'zoom in'

on one of  his contact lenses.
